Angie Castro has served as a Director and Kids Pastor since June 2021 and brings over 30 years of experience in children’s ministry. Her background includes leading children’s ministry programs, volunteering at camps and Vacation Bible School, teaching with Bible Study Fellowship, instructing in a Master of Arts program, and serving as a Chaplain and leader with American Heritage Girls. She is also a former homeschooling mother to her two children. Angie is deeply passionate about helping children grow in their love for God and His Word. She creates Christ-centered curriculum, Scripture challenges, and hands-on games and science-based activities designed to make biblical learning engaging, meaningful, and memorable. Angie regularly speaks at King’s Academy Chapel and has also shared at Vineyard Women’s events. She has been happily married for 27 years and loves spending time with her family—whether on trips to the snow, enjoying walks along the beach, or decorating and creating warm, welcoming spaces.
